Emirates Golf Club in Dubai

Exclusively Dubai gives you insider access to Dubai’s premiere golf courses.

Located on the edge of Dubai’s amazing development, the Emirates Golf Club was the first all grass championship golf course in the Middle East when it opened in 1988 with one golf course and its iconic clubhouse. Today the club sports two of the city's finest must-play golf courses – the original Majlis course which hosts both of the annual European Tour events, the Omega Dubai Desert Classic and Omega Dubai Ladies Masters, and the recently redeveloped Faldo course, which is the only 18 hole course in the region to offer night golf under floodlights.

Both courses combine beautiful fareways and greens with natural rolling desert terrain, select indigenous plants and trees, and a myriad of lakes. The Majlis Course has been the subject of numerous accolades over its 22 year history, and the Dubai desert Classic has seen such winners as Tiger Woods, Ernie Els, Colin Montgomerie, and the late Seve Ballesteros.

The Emirates Golf Club, however, is so much more than a golf club, offering a whole range of leisure facilities that make the club the perfect holiday facility including:

  • the Fit Lab Gym
  • the Elite Tennis Academy and courts
  • the SensAsia Urban Spa
  • the award-winning Le Classique restaurant, and much more

In the center of the thriving city of Dubai lies the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, which opened in January 1993 to worldwide acclaim. It has since developed into one of the region’s finest golf resorts with its marina, hotel, and incredible dining experiences. The golf course has a parkland feel, with well-groomed fairways lined with date palms and coconut trees, attractive water hazards and shrubbery, all lending a tropical air to the 18-hole, par-71 championship course, which has hosted the Dubai Desert Classic on two occasions.

The majestic clubhouse - its design mirroring the sails of the traditional Arab dhow - has been one of the most photographed landmarks since it opened in 1993, capturing the essence of Dubai's seafaring traditions and presenting the perfect fusion of heritage with modernity and style.

As with its sister golf club Emirates, the Creek offers a range of leisure facilities and some amazing dining experiences, in particular the award-winning outdoor restaurant, The Boardwalk, where you can dine overlooking the creek – the waterway that forms the heart of this amazing city – and watch the sun set over the skyline while local Dhows glide by.
